The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is centrally located in Waikiki on the beach. This is a very nice superior property. Most hotel rooms and all one bedrooms will sleep 4 people. All units have a refrigerator, coffee-maker, high-speed internet access (free), hair dryer and an iron/ironing board. Guests can dine at 3 different restaurants, one of which is the popular Duke's Canoe Club. There is also entertainment at the property as well. Guests can workout in the fitness center as well as enjoy the outdoor pool and the Waikiki Plantation Spa. The pool is located next to Duke's patio and guests will like the option of pool-side service. All rooms are non-smoking. Effective March 1, 2012 through June 30, 2012, the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach pool will be closed for pool deck renovation and resurfacing. Guests may use the beach or pools at Outrigger Reef on the Beach or Holiday Inn Waikiki Beachcomber Resort during this pool closure. During the same period, lanai spalling repairs and exterior painting will be taking place. Additionally, the hotel will be renovating guest rooms, a few floors at a time. This work is isolated to guest room floors placed out of service, so no guests would be exposed to those floors. Work will take place Monday through Saturday from 9:00AM to 5:30PM to minimize impact while guests are typically out enjoying the beach, sightseeing, shopping or poolside at the Outrigger Waikiki's sister properties.
